Tackling Hate is a collaborative initiative developed by researchers from Deakin University, University of Sydney, Michigan State University and City University of New York. It aims to build the capacities of community organisations, government agencies, law enforcement, researchers and students to tackle hate and extremism. By working together we will develop a new culture on how to address hate and extremism through an ‘evidence-based’ and ‘victim-centred’ approach. Our mission is to build more rigorous evidence-based research and policy, maintaining a victim-centred focus on harm reduction and victims’ needs.
Watch our video-interviews with world experts, activists and community leaders discussing how to tackle hate and extremism.
