Welcome to the ‘Tackling Hate’ Lab website, a central hub for data-driven research on countering ideology-driven and prejudice-driven behaviours, including discrimination, threats, verbal abuse, vandalism, physical aggression, and murder. We integrate emerging technologies, AI, econometric methods and agent-based modelling with social and psychological science to analyse the emergence of hostility and targeted aggression in digital and physical spaces and to assess strategies for prevention and mitigation.
